Away Tickets

In what might be the most unconventional way to get tickets for a game, if all else fails, you could try to get away tickets with the traveling fans for a game you want to see. While some teams have excellent traveling support, and the Premier League teams will likely sell out their Away allotment every time, many away sections to games have plenty of empty seats. As you can imagine, traveling can be difficult and costly, especially during a mid-week game, so grabbing an away ticket for a game is totally possible. This could either be to see your favorite team on the road, or a way into the stadium of the home team has sold out their allotment.

I would keep in mind that, Away fans tend to be passionate and loud, so you’d likely stick out if you didn't bring then energy, but we saw plenty of games where the away attendance was pretty low. Additionally, if you’re a fan of the home team, you’d have to check yourself to not accidentally celebrate with the home fans when something happens, as you could very well be removed from the stadium. These teams take the divide of home and away fans very seriously. You’ll find signs around the stadium and notes on your tickets that home tickets are only for home supporters and visa versa, and they can take action if you’re not supporting the right side.

The process is just like buying general sale tickets. Create a ticket account and look for the dates when tickets go on sale to members and the general public. If you are past the general sale date and you see tickets available, you can grab them!
